What Truly Caused the Pogrom of 1938

Everyone knows what happened 80 years ago, November 9-10, 1938 in Germany. The unprecedented pogrom of the Jews got the name Kristallnacht – “Night of Broken Glass.” Today, we are well aware of the approximate number of murdered Jews, destroyed businesses, and burned synagogues. The formal reason for the pogrom was the murder of the German diplomat Ernst vom Rath in Paris by the Jewish teenager Herschel Grynszpan on November 7.

Unfortunately, few people know about the true causes of the pogrom.

Who created the conditions under which a mass pogrom of Jews in the Third Reich could even take place?

After the murder of the German diplomat, the propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels, announced that neither the German government nor the ruling National Socialist Workers Party (NSDAP, AKA Nazi) would organize any protests in this regard. Goebbels knew what was going to happen. The government of Nazi Germany, although not formally involved in the detailed organization of the Kristallnacht, for several years was doing everything possible to make such a pogrom.

Since taking power in 1933, the Nazis had tightened the existing gun control laws. All German citizens, including Jews, were required to register their weapons, and for every firearm purchase, they must obtain a special permit from the authorities. In September 1935, all Jews were stripped of German citizenship. All Jews, without exception, were declared “untrustworthy” and deprived of most civil rights. Then, starting in December 1935, the Jews of Germany lost the opportunity to buy firearms and ammunition, but the Nazis had not yet executed a widespread confiscation of the existing weapons and ammunition.

Finally, in March 1938, a new gun control law was passed in Germany. In this law, the only mention of Jews was in the part that declared a total ban on Jews from participating in the production and trade of firearms and ammunition. However, this law, on the one hand, lifted restrictions of the possession of firearms by members of all Nazi-connected organizations (such as the NSDAP, the SA, and the Hitler Youth) and on the other hand prohibited the possession of firearms by all “untrustworthy” and those persons “relieved of their civil rights.” By the law of 1935, not only Jews but also all political opponents of the Nazi regime, as well as Gypsies and the homeless, were treated as “untrustworthy.”

Due to the combined application of the laws of the Third Reich of 1935 and 1938, the confiscation of all firearms from German Jews was categorically legalized.

As a result, a massive (and effective) campaign for the confiscation of weapons had begun, and in many regions of Germany, the Jews were wholly disarmed in just six months – by November 1938. For example, the day before the pogrom, on November 8, 1938, the New York Times published an article reported that the head of the Berlin police noted with satisfaction that practically all firearms from Berlin Jews had already been taken. The Nazis’ sequester was effective because law-abiding German Jews registered all their weapons, as the law required. As a result, the addresses of the Jewish owners of the firearms and the details of the weapons in question were known to the authorities in advance.

There is every reason to believe that the catalyst was not the murder of the third secretary of the German embassy in Paris, but rather a series of articles printed in the German morning newspapers on November 9, 1938. Their reports about the practical completion of the seizure of weapons from Jews served as a trigger for the pogrom.

The killing of a minor diplomat cannot drive the whole country to a bloody massacre, but a guaranteed absence of armed resistance certainly can.

The collection of firearms from the Jews from March to November 1938 was not the beginning, but the end of the Nazi policy of complete disarmament of the Jews. The seizure of weapons began several months after the Nazis came to power, although at first, this was not widespread, because in 1933, it was a question of impounding only the army-grade weapons. Indicative is the rummage of Albert Einstein’s house in March 1933 on the grounds that “Professor Einstein has a weapons depot at home.” At the time of the search, Einstein was not at home (he was outside Germany), and they found no weapons in the house of the physicist-pacifist.

The day after the start of the pogrom, on November 10, the German government decided to suppress the initiative from the rioters. SS head Heinrich Himmler announced that the refusal to surrender weapons by Jews would be punished with 20 years’ imprisonment in concentration camps. As a result, tens of thousands of Jews were arrested and thrown into concentration camps. To this day, nobody knows which of them actually refused to hand over legally acquired guns and which simply fell victim to the circumstances.

Also, the police received clear instructions on what can be allowed during the pogrom and what should not be allowed. For example, businesses owned by Jews could be shattered and destroyed (but not set on fire), while looting was prohibited. Foreigners (including Jews) should be protected. Businesses that belonged to non-Jews should be preserved in every way possible, and “spontaneous mass demonstrations” should not be hindered.

Two days after the beginning of the pogrom, on November 11, 1938, the government of the Third Reich made its final point on this issue. Jews were deprived of the right to hold firearms or any weapon whatsoever or any ammunition.

This final point was the beginning of the “final solution of the Jewish question” in the Third Reich.

During the pogrom in Germany, 80 years ago many more Jews perished than in the recent pogrom in Pittsburgh. However, these two events, separated by decades, are united by one thing – National Socialism.

Both the Nazi government and the lone American neo-Nazi had the same goal. The well-known policy on gun control by the American socialists, including the idiotic Gun Free Zones, leads to the same result as the policy of the German National Socialists. It promotes the disarmament of law-abiding American citizens similarly to how the Nazi policy led to the disarming of the Jews. Consequently, many Jews (not only in America) for some reason forgot that the Third Reich is long gone, and it is no longer necessary to obey the Nazi laws on the disarmament of Jews.

Also, the de facto disarmament of American citizens is contrary to the de jure Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

The pogrom in Germany was stopped on the evening of November 10, 1938, by order of Goebbels. Should the Americans wait and hope that some high-ranking bureaucrat will stop another Jewish pogrom, or will we stop them by using our legal rights and legal means?

Кто создал условия, при которых массовый погром евреев на территории Третьего Рейха вообще мог состояться?

Ведь министр пропаганды Геббельс после убийства немецкого дипломата объявил, что ни правительство Германии, ни правящая Национал-Социалистическая Рабочая Партия (НСДАП) не будут организовывать никаких акций протеста в этой связи. Разумеется, Геббельс знал, что должно было случиться. Правительство нацистской Германии, хотя формально и не участвовало в детальной организации погрома 9 ноября, в течение нескольких лет делало все возможное, чтобы такой суперпогром состоялся.

С момента прихода к власти в 1933 году нацисты ужесточили имеющиеся законы по контролю над огнестрельным оружием. Все граждане Германии, включая евреев, должны были зарегистрировать свое оружие, а на каждую покупку оружия получать специальное разрешение у властей. Убийство второстепенного чиновника не может подвигнуть всю страну на кровавый погром, а вот гарантированное отсутствие вооруженного сопротивления – может.

Разумеется, конфискация огнестрельного оружия у евреев с марта по ноябрь 1938 года было не началом, а окончанием политики полного разоружения евреев. Конфискация оружия началась буквально через несколько месяцев после прихода нацистов к власти, хотя, конечно, сначала это не носило массового характера, поскольку в 1933 году речь шла о конфискации оружия только армейских образцов. Показательным является обыск дома Альберта Эйнштейна в марте 1933 года на том основании, что у «профессора Эйнштейна находится дома склад оружия». Самого Эйнштейна на момент обыска дома (и в Третьем Рейхе) не было, и никакого оружия у физика-пацифиста, разумеется, не нашли.

На следующий день после начала суперпогрома, 10 ноября, правительство Германии решило инициативу у погромщиков перехватить. Глава СС Генрих Гиммлер объявил о том, что отказ в сдаче оружия грозит евреям 20-летним заключением в концлагерях. В результате десятки тысяч евреев были арестованы и брошены в концлагеря. Какая часть из них в самом деле отказалась сдавать легально приобретенное оружие, а какая часть просто попалась «под горячую руку», не знает никто.

Кроме того, полиция получила от СС четкие указания, что можно допускать во время погрома, а чего допускать нельзя. Например, бизнесы, принадлежащие евреям, можно было громить и разрушать (но не поджигать); при этом мародерство запрещалось. (Действительно, зачем что-то еще поджигать, если все прекрасно горит еще со вчерашнего дня). Иностранцев (включая евреев) следует охранять. Бизнесы, не принадлежащие евреям, следует всячески оберегать, а «спонтанным массовым демонстрациям» не препятствовать.

Через два дня после начала суперпогрома, 11 ноября 1938 года, правительство Третьего рейха поставило финальную точку в этом вопросе – евреев вообще лишили права на любое оружие (не только огнестрельное, но и на любое холодное) и на любые боеприпасы. Эта финальная точка послужила началом «окончательного решения еврейского вопроса» в Третьем Рейхе.

Во время суперпогрома в Германии 80 лет назад погибло на порядок больше евреев, чем в недавнем погроме в Питтсбурге. Но эти два события, разделенные десятилетиями, объединяет одно – национал-социализм.

И нацистское правительство Германии, и американский неонацист-одиночка имели одну и ту же цель. Хорошо известная политика американских социалистов по контролю над оружием, включая идиотские Gun Free Zone, приводит к тому же результату, что и политика германских национал-социалистов. Она приводит к разоружению законопослушных американских граждан точно так же, как и политика нацистов приводила к разоружению евреев. При этом многие евреи (не только в Америке, кстати) почему-то забыли, что Третьего Рейха уже давным-давно нет, и исполнять нацистские законы о разоружении евреев более не требуется.

Кроме того, де-факто разоружение американских граждан противоречит де-юре Второй поправке к Конституции США.

Как известно, суперпогром в Германии был остановлен вечером 10 ноября 1938 года по приказу Геббельса. Стоит ли американцам ждать и надеяться на то, что какой-то высокопоставленный бюрократ остановит очередной еврейский погром, или мы сами все-таки остановим их, используя свои законные права и законные средства?

The mutual cleaning of political stables

In Tuesday’s congressional elections, the Republicans lost the House of Representatives and held the Senate. Of the three branches of the federal government, the Democrats regained control of half the legislative power – that is, one-sixth of official Washington. As in the 2016 elections, few people could predict the exact outcome of the 2018 midterms. The so-called “blue wave,” which the Democrats were championing, did not reach the Senate. However, the “red tsunami” of the Republicans passed by the House of Representatives.

What happened?

Behind the façade of the elections in 2018, the political stables became mutually cleared. In the Senate, Republicans were able to defeat the “insufficiently left” Democrats, and in the House of Representatives, the Democrats dealt with the “insufficiently right” RINOs and anti-Trumpists.

In other words, both the Democrats and the Republicans cleared their ranks with the hands of their political opponents.

As a result, polarization in Congress increased markedly. However, the polarization in Congress was massive even before that, so this would not change the main picture of Washington’s political life. It is unlikely that the parties will be able to work constructively with each other in the next two years.

On the surface, the 2018 elections vis-à-vis the House of Representatives looks like a Democratic victory. Judging by the number of conquered seats, this is true. However, the qualitative composition of the new House of Representatives is not at all the same as before, and this applies to both Democrats and Republicans.

This year, the second wave of purges hit Republicans who sympathize with Democrats and distance themselves from Trump (the first wave was in the 2016 elections). Now there is practically no one among the Republicans in Congress who would oppose the abolition of Obamacare, the Second Amendment to the Constitution, the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico, or the reduction of taxes.

In other words, from January 2019, Republicans in the House of Representatives will be virtually indistinguishable from American conservatives.

If Democratic losers in the Senate paid for voting against Judge Kavanaugh, the Republican anti-Trumpists in the House of Representatives paid for failure to repeal Obamacare and flirting with Democrats regarding illegal immigration and open borders.

These anti-Trumpists were replaced mostly by socialists who hide under the banner of the Democrats. However, the minimal numerical advantage of the Democrats in the House of Representatives (about 10 out of 435) is not based on the socialists. It is based on newly elected centrist members of Congress, many of whom are Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans and share the Republican position on illegal immigration and the Second Amendment. These Democrats have publicly distanced themselves from the far-left and toxic Nancy Pelosi, because, unlike other Democrats in Congress, they are patriots of America. Unfortunately, there are just a few such Democrats in Congress.

Also, Democrats quantitatively won the House of Representatives because of the massive retirement of 43 Republicans, most of whom openly opposed Trump. The statistical chances for re-election in the House are traditionally more than 90%. Therefore, if they remained in politics, these Republicans would have been guaranteed to keep the House of Representatives in their hands.

The behavior of these “Republicans” cannot even be called a betrayal, because there was little benefit from them as congressmen in a first place. Also, some of these Republican opponents of Trump announced their withdrawal from politics not at the beginning, but at the end of the election cycle, so the Republicans did not have enough time to find a suitable replacement for them.

As a result, the socialists who seized the Democratic Party of the USA many years ago, besides the new socialists and a small number of centrists, managed to add to their ranks new, ardent anti-Semites, young communists, and supporters of sharia law in America.

It seems that from January 2019, the Democrats in the House of Representatives will become virtually indistinguishable from the American communists.

After the elections of 2018, all of America saw the difference in the behavior of the supporters of the two parties again. After Democrats lost the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the White House in 2016, they periodically organized street riots, fought hysterically, and tried to force President Trump out of the White House by hook or by crook, while the Republicans will simply accept the loss of the House and go to work the next day.

На вчерашних выборах в Конгресс республиканцы потеряли Палату Представителей и удержали Сенат. Из трех ветвей федеральной власти демократы вернули себе контроль над половиной законодательной власти, то есть 1/6 официального Вашингтона. Как и на выборах 2016 года, мало кто смог предугадать точный результат выборов. Так называемая «голубая волна», о которой твердили демократы, до Сената не дошла. Но и «красное цунами» республиканцев прошло мимо Палаты Представителей.

Что же произошло?

За фасадом выборов 2018 года произошла взаимная очистка политических конюшен – в Сенате республиканцы смогли победить «недостаточно левых» демократов, а в Палате Представителей демократы расправились с республиканскими «недостаточно правыми» псевдо-консерваторами и анти-трампистами.

Иными словами, и демократы, и республиканцы руками своих политических противников очистили свои ряды.

В результате поляризация в Конгрессе заметно увеличилась. Но поляризация в Конгрессе и до этого была огромной, поэтому основную картину политической жизни это не изменит – вряд ли партиям удастся конструктивно работать друг с другом в ближайшие два года.

На поверхности выборы 2018 года в Палату Представителей выглядят как победа демократов. Если судить по количеству завоеванных мест, это действительно так. Но качественный состав новой Палаты Представителей – совсем не такой, как прежде, причем это касается и демократов, и республиканцев.

В этом году на республиканцев, которые симпатизируют демократам и дистанцируются от Трампа, обрушилась вторая волна увольнений (первая волна была на выборах 2016 года). Теперь среди республиканцев в Конгрессе практически не осталось никого, кто был бы против отмены Обамакер, Второй поправки к Конституции, постройки стены на границе с Мексикой, и уменьшения налогов.

Другими словами, с января 2019 года республиканцы в Палате Представителей будут практически неотличимы от американских консерваторов.

Если проигравшие в Сенате демократы поплатились за то, что они голосовали против судьи Кавана, то республиканские анти-трамписты в Палате Представителей поплатились за неспособность отменить Обамакер и заигрывание с демократами по поводу нелегальной иммиграции и открытых границ.

Эти анти-трамписты были заменены в основном социалистами, которые выступают под знаменем демократов. Но минимальное численное преимущество демократов в Палате Представителей (около 10 человек из 435) базируется отнюдь не на социалистах. Оно базируется на новоизбранных конгрессменах-центристах, многие из которых – ветераны войны в Ираке и Афганистане, разделяющие позиции республиканцев по вопросу нелегальной иммиграции и по Второй поправке к Конституции США. Эти демократы публично дистанцировались от крайне левой и токсичной Нэнси Пелози, потому что, в отличие от других демократов в Конгрессе, являются патриотами Америки. К сожалению, таких демократов в Конгрессе немного.

С января 2019 года демократы в Палате Представителей станут практически неотличимы от американских коммунистов.

После выборов 2018 года вся Америка снова увидела разницу в поведении сторонников двух партий. Если демократы после потери в 2016 году Сената, Палаты Представителей и Белого Дома до сих пор периодически устраивают уличные беспорядки, бьются в истерике и пытаются выдавить Президента Трампа из Белого Дома всеми правдами и неправдами, то республиканцы после потери Палаты Представителей просто вышли на работу.

Conservatism and Anti-Semitism

At the beginning of the 20th century, my grandfather’s older brother (who was then a little boy) moved with his family to America. Their path was a standard one – a ship across the Atlantic and then quarantined on Ellis Island. They eventually settled in Pittsburgh.

At the end of the 20th century, our family completed their relocation to America. We have no more close relatives living outside of America. I do not know what the political preferences of those relatives were who arrived in America before us, but we came into America as staunch anti-communists. Also, we had a complete list of those family members who did not survive the Shoah.

We brought with us a clear understanding of who organized the Shoah. However, before we moved to America, we were unaware that most American Jews (many of whom are adherents of leftist, socialist ideology) did not want to see the truth about this. The reality that the Shoah was organized by their ideological cousins – the German National Socialists – is very unpleasant for a particular part of American Jewry.

This is why a section of American Jews behave as if the Shoah did not happen at all. They act as if in America there is no openly anti-Semitic party – the Democratic party. Moreover, some of them are even members of this party.

Many American Jews behave as if they do not understand that the Democratic Party has made a complete ideological turn in 190 years of its existence – from the far-right (and racist) party to the far-left (and anti-Semitic) party.

The neo-Nazi who shot 11 people in the Pittsburgh synagogue is known for his posts on Twitter. Judging by his posts, he was ideologically close not only to the anti-Semite Perez and the anti-Semite Ellison (Chairman of the DNC and his deputy) but also to the anti-Semite Farrakhan. Farrakhan is also known to be a longtime friend and ally of many bosses of the Democratic Party (for example, Obama and the Clintons). Both Farrakhan and Ellison belong to the American Nation of Islam organization. Farrakhan, his followers, and friends call the Jews “termites” and supporters of the “Synagogue of Satan.” Both Farrakhan and his followers live among us and regularly come to the polling stations.

The political consequences of this attack are so apparent that even the predictable anti-Trump press blames Trump, but this time the blame is very sluggish and without former enthusiasm. After all, it is well known that when terrorist attacks occur, Americans prefer to vote for Republicans. In fact, President Trump, unlike the democratic opposition, immediately declared that this neo-Nazi (who, by the way, hates Trump) should be subjected to capital punishment. Of course, the voters are impressed.

Why, in such cases, do Americans prefer to vote for Republicans? Because Republicans (more precisely, a certain part of Republicans) play the role of proxy for American conservatives. Moreover, if the ideology of the classical Republicans is very controversial (they advocate for low taxes but an unlimited federal government), then the doctrine of the conservatives is entirely coherent (they favor low taxes and a limited federal government, as required by the U.S. Constitution).

Also, conservatives adhere to straightforward rules in the relationship between the state and the citizen. Conservatives respect the fact that a citizen cannot be blamed for something he or she is not able to change under any circumstances.

Therefore, conservatives will never dare to condemn a person for who their parents are, their place of birth, nationality, or race. The norms of such behavior are enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. At the same time, conservatives believe that some qualities acquired after birth can (and in some cases are merely obligated) serve as the basis for a confrontation between the state and the citizen. These qualities include ideology, political preferences, morality, and human behavior.

In other words, anti-Semitism (like racism) is a taboo for American conservatives.

After the events in Pittsburgh, fruitless discussions about anti-Semitism will begin again in the American press. They will be unsuccessful because the ideological and religious components of anti-Semitism will again be hushed up. For conservatives, such a position is unacceptable. The attitude shown by the Pittsburgh police officers is more acceptable to them.

As you know, at first, two patrol police officers who answered the call started a shootout with a neo-Nazi in the synagogue. Both were wounded but remained on scene until the arrival of the SWAT team. The Pittsburgh SWAT began the assault and rushed under bullets, risking their lives to rescue, entirely unknown to them, Jews. Two SWAT officers were seriously wounded. They unloaded several magazines on the terrorist until he collapsed; then he crawled on his knees to the SWAT team, begging for mercy. Overall, less than 20 minutes passed from the first to the last shot in the synagogue.

This is how real America behaves when it meets with Evil.

This is how we all should consider the midterm elections. The 2018 elections are not just a midterm election. It is another episode in the eternal struggle between Good and Evil.

Remember which Democrats came to the opening of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem? Not one arrived. Recall that the most anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli speech ever heard at the U.N. was not spoken by a representative of a Middle Eastern country with the 7th-century worldview, but by Secretary of State Kerry in the last days of the Obama administration in December 2016. It seems that the words “anti-Trumpists” and “anti-Semites” have become synonymous.

Anti-Semitism is irrational because it requires Jews to change what they cannot change by definition. Therefore, the answer to it should be such that even the most arch-irrational anti-Semite understands that neither his position nor any attempts to rationalize it are unacceptable by society in principle.

Now leftists will again propose some purely symbolic “security measures.” For example, to hang in a prominent place another ridiculous “Gun Free Zone” poster although from the very beginning it was clear that such signs are just a magnet for psychos of all stripes. There will be many symbolic acts of solidarity, such as turning off the night illumination of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Thank you, France, but no acts of solidarity and public lightings of candles will help.

The Game of October Surprises

October before the elections in America is a suspenseful time in politics. We are all waiting for some kind of surprise. At the same time, the majority of Americans understand that this year, the Republicans do not need any October surprises, as they are approaching the mid-term elections with a proven and positive political and economic program.

However, to the Democrats, any scandal a few weeks before the elections is undeniably necessary. They are facing another defeat in the elections of 2018 because they have been recklessly moving all in with the disgraceful “Russian affair” of Trump. For two years, they unsuccessfully tried to convince America that Trump is Putin’s protege.

However, the “Russian affair” did not lead to anything, so they launched the porn star, Stormy Daniels. Her task was simple – to tarnish Trump. But, to the great dismay of the Democrats, instead of this, in the summer she became the face of the Democratic Party for two whole months. Approaching the midterms and having a stripper in the forefront was political suicide, and the porn actress was quickly removed from TV screens and front pages.

The Democrats committed their next mistake with Judge Kavanaugh. They decided to tarnish him and torpedo his appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court. But in this case, it turned out even worse than with a porn star. While a porn star conscientiously memorized the legend and knew in detail what allegedly happened between her and Trump, the professor accusing Judge Kavanaugh could not. She didn’t remember crucial details, was always confused in her testimony and could convince neither the FBI, the Senate, nor the American public that she was telling the truth. Of course, immediately after the oath of Judge Kavanaugh, the unconvincing professor was expelled from the airwaves.

By early October, the Democrats have finally realized that they were approaching the midterm elections of 2018 with a whole bunch of fabricated fakes and lost political battles. Never and nowhere in democratic countries, this is a winning electoral strategy.

So then, we enter the time for non-explosive bombs.

That dozen of “bombs” that Caesar-the-stripper from Florida (yes, don’t be surprised, this stripper even worked for some time in the same club as stripper Stormie Daniels) so that they basically could not explode and therefore did not explode. Electronic clocks, stuck with tape to a tube filled with non-explosive powder, lacking an alarm function at all. They were ordinary kitchen timers that produced no signals. They could not have blown up anything.

These dozen devices created by Caesar are not bombs with a clock attached to them, they are cheap kitchen clocks attached to harmless tubes with wires, specially made to look like a “real” bomb.

The wires that we see in the photographs of the “bombs” go nowhere, that is, they are simply bent, and their ends are hidden under an electronic clock. There is no fuse in the tubes. The powder in the pipes is flammable, but not explosive; its main ingredient is sulfur. Most of the pseudo-bomber packages were not delivered by mail, because there are no postmarks on them. They were transported by couriers. How could the “bomber” Caesar personally deliver a dozen parcels to different addresses in different parts of the country in two days?

The personality of this Caesar is also quite remarkable. He has two dozen arrests for various crimes. According to the laws of the state of Florida, convicted criminals do not have the right to vote. However, it is easy to find on the Internet that Caesar is allegedly registered as a Republican. In Florida, criminals cannot be either Republicans or Democrats – they are out of politics because they do not have the right to vote.

His car was covered with numerous pro-Trump and anti-Democrat stickers. In this case, there is not a single scratch on the car, as if in Florida there are no gangster punks or Antifa at all. Moreover, all the stickers are glossy fresh, as if in Florida there is no strong sun, hot weather, and torrential rains. Also, it is prohibited to have such stickers on the side windows of a car in Florida.

Finally, this pseudo-bomber and pseudo-Trumpist left suspiciously many traces, including many on his Twitter. On Twitter, he follows only 32 people, most of whom are high-ranking Democrats, starting with Barack Obama.

The conclusion is clear: the goal of Caesar and those behind him was not a massacre or terrorist attack, but a standard October political surprise.

Their goal was to sow fear, create an alarming situation in America before the elections, and fill in the front pages of newspapers and news bulletins. In part, they have achieved their goal – a caravan of illegals from Latin America turned out to be successfully extruded from the news cycle.

However, the transformation of the Democrats into a Socialist, pro-Muslim and anti-Semitic party again played a cruel joke on them, and the tragedy in Pittsburgh pushed the pseudo-bombing surprise out of the air.

Enter Trump’s October move.

Unlike the pseudo-bombing panic, which was badly improvised, Trump’s immigration surprise has been prepared for several months.

A week before the election, President Trump announces that he is preparing an Executive Order that children born in the United States will not automatically obtain American citizenship in the future. Citizenship will be given only to those children whose parents are in the United States legally. These include only American citizens and legal residents.

Of course, all other news was instantly squeezed out of the air – such are the laws of the news cycle. At the same time, Trump can no longer rush with the Executive Order. His goal is political. He knows that 2/3 of Americans support his decision, and he is well aware that a long-term legal battle with Democrats who mostly represent the interests of immigrants rather than citizens of America is coming.

At the moment Trump is not interested in the decisions of the American courts. It is quite possible that he will even lose in the courts. However, the White House understands that you need to win the mid-term elections first, and deal with legal issues later.

Trump’s immediate goal is not a game of immigration and intellectual tug-of-war with the Democrats, but the November mid-terms.

It is unlikely that the Democrats are capable of organizing an effective information counterattack for the remaining days before the elections. Democrats and their allies in the mass disinformation media have again stepped on the same rake. As before, Trump manipulates them with frightening ease.

Some events will take place during the last election week, but one thing should be clearly understood – the American socialists are in a panic. They demonstrate all signs of despair because of numerous political mistakes, and they are inexorably approaching political defeat.

Октябрь перед выборами в Америке – время ожидания политических сюрпризов. Все мы ждали какого-то сюрприза. При этом большинство американцев понимало, что в этом году республиканцам устраивать октябрьские сюрпризы просто нет смысла – они выходят на выборы с проверенной в деле позитивной политической и экономической программой.

А вот демократам любой скандал за несколько недель до выборов был просто необходим. Их ждет на выборах 2018 года очередное поражение из-за того, что они с позорным «русским делом» Трампа опрометчиво пошли ва-банк. В течение двух лет они безуспешно пытались убедить Америку, что Трамп – ставленник Путина.

Но «русский след» ни к чему не привел, и тогда они запустили порнозвезду Сторми Даниэлс. Ее задача была простой – очернить Трампа. Но, в великому ужасу демократов, вместо этого она этим летом на целых два месяца стала лицом Демократической партии. Выходить на выборы, имея в авангарде стриптизершу – это политическое самоубийство, и порноактрису поскорее убрали с телеэкранов и первых полос.

Следующую ошибку демократы допустили с судьей Кавана. Как и Трампа, они решили его очернить и торпедировать его назначение на место судьи Верховного Суда США. Но в этом деле вышло еще хуже, чем с порнозвездой. Если порнозвезда добросовестно выучила легенду и знала назубок, что и когда у нее якобы произошло с Трампом, то профессор-обвинительница судьи Кавана и этого выучить не смогла. Она ничего толком не помнила, постоянно путалась в показаниях, и не смогла убедить ни ФБР, ни членов Сената, ни американскую публику в том, что она говорит правду. Разумеется, сразу после приведения к присяге судьи Кавана неубедительная профессорша была изгнана из эфира.

К началу октября до демократов наконец-то дошло, что они выходят на выборы 2018 года с целым букетом сфабрикованных фальшивок и проигранных политических баталий. Никогда и нигде в демократических странах это не является выигрышной выборной стратегией.

И тогда пришло время невзрывающихся бомб.

Ту дюжину «бомб», которые Цезарь-стриптизер из Флориды (да, не удивляйтесь, этот стриптизер одно время даже работал в том же заведении, что и стритизерша Сторми Даниэлс) сделал так, чтобы они принципиально не смогли взорваться, и поэтому они не взорвались. Электронные часы, прилепленные изолентой к трубке с невзрывающимся порошком, вообще не имеют функции звонка. Это – обыкновенный кухонный таймер. Он не подает никаких сигналов. С его помощью ничего нельзя взорвать.

Дюжина устройств, созданная Цезарем – это не бомбы с прикрученными к ним часовым механизмом. Это дешевые кухонные часы с прикрученными к ним трубками и проводами, специально сделанными так, чтобы выглядеть как «настоящая» бомба.

Большинство бандеролей с псевдо-бомбами были доставлены не почтой, потому что на них нет никаких почтовых штемпелей. Они были доставлены курьерами. Как мог арестованный Цезарь лично доставить десяток посылок по разным адресам в разных концах страны за два дня?

Личность этого Цезаря тоже весьма примечательная. Он имеет два десятка арестов за различные преступления. По законам штата Флорида осужденные преступники не имеют права принимать участия в выборах. Тем не менее, в интернете легко обнаружить данные о том, что Цезарь якобы зарегистрирован как республиканец. Во Флориде преступники не могут быть ни республиканцами, ни демократами – они вне политики, поскольку не имеют права голоса.

Его машина был заклеена многочисленными агитационными наклейками за Трампа и против демократов. При этом ни одной царапины на машине нет, как будто во Флориде вообще нет ни бандитской шпаны, ни Антифа. А все наклейки – глянцево свежие, как будто во Флориде нет сильного солнца, жаркой погоды и проливных дождей. Кроме того, иметь такие наклейки на боковых окнах автомобиля во Флориде запрещено.

Наконец, этот псевдо-бомбист и псевдо-трампист оставил подозрительно много следов, включая социальную сеть Твиттер. В Твиттере он имеет в друзьях только 32 человека, большинство из которых – высокопоставленные демократы, начиная с Барака Обамы.

Вывод напрашивается однозначный – целью Цезаря и тех, кто стоит за ним, было не массовое убийство и не террористическая атака, а стандартный октябрьский политический сюрприз.

Их целью было посеять страх, создать в Америке тревожную обстановку перед выборами, и заполнить первые полосы газет и выпусков новостей. Частично они своего добились – караван нелегалов из Латинской Америки оказался успешно выдавленным из новостного цикла.

Но трансформация демократов в социалистическую, промусульманскую и антисемитскую партию опять сыграла с ними злую шутку, и трагедия в Питтсбурге вытеснила псевдо-бомбовый сюрприз из эфира.

И тогда Трамп делает свой октябрький ход.

Но в отличие от псевдо-бомбовой паники, которая была плохо отрежиссированным экспромтом, иммиграционный сюрприз Трампа готовился несколько месяцев.

За неделю до выборов он объявляет, что готовит президентский Указ о том, что дети, родившиеся на территории США, не будут в дальнейшем автоматически получать американское гражданство. Гражданство будет даваться только тем детям, родители которых находятся на территории США на законных основаниях. К таким относятся только граждане Америки и легальные резиденты.

Разумеется, все остальные новости оказались мгновенно выдавленными из эфира – таковы уж законы новостного цикла. При этом Трампу теперь можно вообще не спешить с Указом. Его цель – политическая. Он знает, что 2/3 граждан страны поддерживают его решение, и прекрасно осознает, что впереди грядет многолетняя судебная тяжба с демократами, которые представляют скорее интересы иммигрантов, а не граждан Америки.

Решения американских судов в настоящий момент Трампа не интересуют. Вполне возможно, что суды он проиграет. Но Белый Дом исходит из того, что сначала необходимо выиграть промежуточные выборы, а юридическими вопросами заниматься потом.

Ближайшая цель Трампа – не игра в иммиграционное и интеллектуальное перетягивание каната с демократами, а ноябрьские выборы.

Вряд ли демократы способны за оставшиеся до выборов дни организовать эффективную информационную контратаку. Демократы и их союзники в средствах массовой дезинформации опять (в очередной раз!) наступили на те же самые грабли. Как и до этого случая, Трамп манипулирует ими с пугающей всех легкостью.

В течение последней предвыборной недели еще будут происходить какие-то события, но все должны отчетливо понимать одно – американские социалисты в панике. В их глазах читается отчаяние из-за многочисленных политических ошибок и неумолимо надвигающего политического разгрома.

Monk, Judge, Sultan, and President

Very often, what we consider unique and inimitable has already happened somewhere else.

I had to watch the final part of the recent Judge Kavanaugh saga from abroad, traveling through the country of Georgia. The ancient name of this country is Sakartvelo. The State of Georgia in America, a former colony of Great Britain, was named after the British King George II. However, the country Georgia, south of Europe, was named after St. George, who is considered the patron saint of this country.

So the country of Georgia bears the name of one of the most famous Christian saints, and historically, religion has played a considerable role in it. The ancient nation of Sakartvelo adopted Christianity in 319 A.D., immediately after neighboring Armenia – that is, about three generations earlier than the Roman Empire, and many centuries earlier than the rest of Europe. Note that Jews have lived in Georgia from about the 6th century B.C., and this country is proud of the fact that it is one of those few countries where there has never been anti-Semitism.

Christian religious traditions in Georgia, including the founding of monasteries and monasticism, go back centuries. In my travels there, I learned about one of the most famous and revered monks, David (revered by the Eastern Orthodox as Saint David of Gareji), who lived in the 6th century. The activities of this preacher caused the ire of the pagans, who received support from neighboring Persia. They incited one woman of loose morals to slander the monk, and the devout David was accused of sexual abuse.

According to ancient legend, the righteous David execrated that woman. However, he prophesied that the woman would bear the main punishment later: she would give birth to a stone, which would serve as proof of his innocence. According to legend, the monk’s prediction came true, and the crowd, despite a plea of David, stoned this woman to death. A church was erected in that place in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. David himself went to the desert mountains, where at the end of the 6th century he founded a cave monastery, which still exists today.

This nameless woman from the 6th century, if she were alive today, could well be a participant in the #MeToo movement. The despicable accusation by a woman for the sake of political interests ties the Georgian monk David to the American judge Kavanaugh fifteen centuries later.

Now, a year after the disclosed scandals of Harvey Weinstein, according to various estimates, between 400 and 800 men in America have been hit by the #MeToo movement. Some of these allegations are undoubtedly true. However, some are plain bogus, based on revenge or on the wish to earn some money or on the desire for 15 minutes of TV fame – or (as in the case of Judge Kavanaugh) due to political motives.

Unfortunately, the #MeToo movement has created an extremely negative precedent. Now any man in America is considered guilty of sexual harassment, not after a careful investigation and trial, but immediately at the time of the allegation.

The political consequences of this are easy to predict. In America, justice is part of a national character, regardless of sex, race, and income level. Therefore, the Democrats – supporters of the #MeToo movement – most likely will face an unpleasant surprise the very next morning after this year’s elections.

A well-established theory comes to mind – the so-called long correlations in human society. It means that the events of a distant past do not disappear without a trace. Rather, they lead to certain specific circumstances many centuries later. One of these historical events occurred in Turkey, a country that was a continuation of my journey, which borders European Georgia.

Most everyone is aware of the history of Istanbul and the history of the harems of the Ottoman sultans. The most famous was the harem of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, whose star was the Slavic beauty and master of political intrigues, Roxelana. But, as I was able to learn in Istanbul, Sultan Suleiman did not get the nickname “Magnificent” because of the harem. He got it because of his tax policy.

Immediately after coming to power at the beginning of the 16th century, Suleiman (then not yet magnificent) substantially reduced internal taxes in the territory of the Ottoman Empire and at the same time significantly increased external taxes (tariffs).

Five centuries later, President Trump did the same.

During the time of Suleiman, Venice was the main economic rival of the Ottoman Empire. Suleiman’s double-tax leverage led to it becoming more profitable to produce goods within the Ottoman Empire than to import these goods from Venice.

The tax policy of Suleiman led to a massive transfer of capital from Europe to the Ottoman Empire. This transfer led to an economic boom that lasted more than a hundred years and allowed the Ottomans not only successfully to compete with Europe in the economic sphere, but also to expand their empire. No wonder these hundred years are considered the “Golden Age” of the Ottoman Empire. Sultan Suleiman received the nickname “Magnificent” quite deservedly.

The success of such a tax policy is impossible if we operate with only one tax lever – either solely internal or external tariffs. President Trump has long understood that only the simultaneous application of levers to external and internal taxes creates the financial incentive that “squeezes out” competitors from abroad and forces them to transfer their production to America. The simultaneous manipulation of the two tax levers allows redirecting the global financial flows to where Trump wants them: to America.

Will American society learn from these history lessons? Will we eradicate the presumption of innocence? Will Americans vote in Democrats who are threatening to reverse the Trump economic reforms? Will the long historical correlations give enough wisdom to Americans to learn from others, and not from our own mistakes and successes?

Let’s hope this year’s election will give us a definitive answer.
